I'm currently working as a User Experience Researcher at THINX, inc. where I conduct qualitative and quantitative research across the company’s three sub-brands—THINX, THINX (BTWN), and Icon—to improve the usability and experience of our digital platforms. Our team’s goal is to leverage user-centered research and design to improve every brand touchpoint and ultimately drive conversions. My day-to-day consists of the following:
Tracking and reporting on website analytics in Heap to understand common user paths and behaviors
Brainstorming, running, and tracking A/B tests on all three sites using Dynamic Yield
Conducting user research (usability studies, focus groups, diary studies, card sorts, tree tests, surveys, etc.) with participants from each user group and summarizing findings in company-wide research reports
Educating the wider organization about user experience best practices through workshops (user journey mapping, empathy mapping, persona building, etc.)
Working closely with UX designers and brand teams in weekly design sprints during major website redesigns
Prior to THINX, I worked at Quartz, a digital-first media company. I started out as an Editor on the Branded Content team and then shifted into a role as Product Strategist on the Marketing Products Team, an innovation incubator on the business side of the company.
I graduated from the Brown-RISD Dual Degree Program in 2016, where I completed a Bachelor of Science in Social Analysis and Research from Brown University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design over 5 years.
